Alysa has practiced yoga and meditation for over 25 years and is a certified yoga instructor who takes her experience to the classroom to guide her students through postures and breathwork to strengthen and stretch the body while calming the mind. Alysa humbly respects the sacred South Asian origins of yoga and its long and nuanced history. Her philosophy is to modify and rest as needed, and she always makes her classes fun.

She's gone on several mountain treks, including Kilimanjaro, Machu Picchu, and the Himalaya in Nepal and India. When she isn't climbing mountains or teaching yoga, she's a writer and contemporary artist who has art in corporate, public, and private collections in Canada and abroad.
