PROFESSIONAL FOCUS
Susan is a highly skilled and deeply compassionate massage therapist committed to supporting her clients’ health and wellbeing through personalized, therapeutic care. With a practice grounded in attentive listening and an intuitive understanding of the body, Susan creates a safe, nurturing space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered on their path to healing.
Her diverse training reflects her dedication to lifelong learning and clinical excellence. Since beginning her career, Susan has studied shiatsu, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, the Trager® Approach, and Rhythmic Movement Training, as well as specialized modalities such as pregnancy, infant, and oncology massage. She brings particular expertise in working with individuals currently or previously affected by cancer, as well as those managing temporomandibular disorders (TMD).
A certified Combined Decongestive Therapist through the Dr. Vodder School, Susan has advanced training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and its application across a wide range of conditions, including lymphedema, lipedema, cancer care, post-surgical recovery (including liposuction and cosmetic procedures), scars, burns, tinnitus, sinusitis, migraines, and other soft tissue injuries.
Susan works with clients of all ages, addressing both acute injuries and chronic conditions. Her approach is gentle yet effective, easing muscular tension caused by stress, overuse, and the everyday demands of modern life. She believes wholeheartedly in the healing power of therapeutic touch — not only for its physical benefits but also for the comfort and relief it brings. For Susan, part of what makes massage so effective is simple: it feels good — and that matters.
