Beginning January 2012, Jessica Paterson will be the Acupuncturist at Russell Hill Chiropractic Clinic.  Jessica is a wonderful practitioner with a few unique twists that are particularly exciting.
 


Clinic Hours: Tuesdays 9:00am-6:00om & Thursdays 11:00am-8:00pm 
Saturdays: By Appointment


Jessica’s treatments can be submitted to your personal health insurance provider under Massage Therapy.  Check your individual plan for details. 

 


 

Man vs Mountain

We are happy to report that a wonderful friend of ours, Elliot Salmons, is currently climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. While the rest of us attempt to make it through morning GTA traffic, Elliot will conquer 5,985 metres of volcanic rock in order to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis research.

Craniosacral Therapy Massages Now Available!

Our very popular Registered Massage Therapist, Kaaren Brooks, has completed training in Craniosacral Therapy Massage. During this type of massage the practitioner gently works with the spine, the skull and surrounding tissues. As a result, the restrictions of nerve passages are said to be eased, the movement of cerebropspinal fluid through the spinal cord is said to be optimized and misaligned bones are said to be restored to their proper position. Craniosacral therapists use this therapy to treat mental stress, neck and back pain, migranes, TMJ Syndrome and chronic pain conditions.

Russell Hill would like to welcome Ewa Oszust, our new Registered Massage Therapist, to the clinic! Ewa has over 17 years of experience as a massage therapist and specializes in deep tissue manipulation, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular and relaxation therapy.

We would like to remind all mommies-to-be that Russell Hill offers pre-natal massage .

Massage during pregnancy is therapeutic bodywork focusing on the special needs of the mother-to-be, which in turn nurtures the new life that grows within her. Taking time for yourself during pregnancy can be uplifting emotionally. The soothing essence of massage allows pregnant moms to unwind and feel serene, healthy, and comforted during a period of added physical and emotional stress.

Pilates and Strengthening Classes

Yoga Classes

CALM MIND. FIT BODY. INSPIRED YOU! 90 minute classes will be running at Russell Hill Starting in October on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm. Discover the health benefits of YOGA on your mind and body. There are a few spots left to join in and drop ins are always welcome!

Class size is limited to 8 people, and instruction is hands on, with an emphasis on achieving proper alignment and adjustments, strengthening and stretching your body, and breathing as a form of relaxation.
